I was educated at Miskatonic University in the field of geology. My first summer of field research took me to the plateau of Leng, where I was impressed by the impossible architecture of the ancient ruins and by the strange natural formations of the forbidding landscape. I saw rocks anthropomorphize into tortured, expressionistic faces and witnessed trees transform into silent, dancing dryads. Science lost its meaning. I abandoned my geologic tools and wandered to the far places. I have now returned to the center of civilization to share my visions
